Event Setup
  1. 1 When first starting up the tablet, open Microsoft Edge and refresh the page to ensure your session is current.
  2. 2 Open the Check-In Hub from the bookmark on the Edge toolbar (checkin.thelifechurch.com).
  3. 3 Choose your applicable location.
  4. 4 Choose the check-in type (e.g., Weekend Services).
  5. 5 Select the appropriate event for today's service.
Double-check the printer is connected and powered on — it should show a green power light.
Test Print  ·  If Needed
If the printers were just set up, search for any name and run a test print to confirm labels print correctly. Skip this if the station is already printing fine.

  2. 2 Click the Printer › Manage › Open Print Queue.
  3. 3 Click Printer › Clear All Documents.

Search Results Aren't Showing Anyone

No one comes up when you search a name.

  1. 1 Go back to the Check-In Hub and re-select your location, check-in type, and event — a stale selection is the most common cause.
  2. 2 If names still don't appear, open the event in Ministry Platform and confirm check-in is enabled.
  3. 3 Check that the early and late check-in windows are wide enough to cover when people are actually checking in.
About the Check-In Windows
These windows are set in minutes before and after the event start. If early check-in is only 15 minutes but you're checking someone in an hour before the event, they won't show up yet. Likewise, if late check-in is 15 minutes and it's been 45 minutes since the event started, they'll have dropped off the list. Widen the windows in MP to match your real check-in time.

Still Not Working?
If the printer still won't print after clearing the queue, Reconfigure the Printer using the full setup steps at the bottom of this page.

Use this when the printer still won't print after the troubleshooting steps above, or when setting up a station from scratch.

  1. 1 Go to Settings › Printers and Scanners, click the printer, then click Remove to delete it completely.
  2. 2 Connect the printer to the tablet and turn both on, then let Windows re-detect it (or click Add a printer).

  1. 1 Go to Settings › Devices and Printers.
  2. 2 Click on the printer, then click Manage › Printer Properties.
  3. 3 Click Printing Preferences (bottom left) and set paper sizes as below, then click Apply and OK.

  2. 2 Download the driver at support.brother.com — search Brother QL-810W Driver.
  3. 3 Select your OS (likely Windows 11 but usually auto-detected), click OK › Printer Driver.
  4. 4 Agree to the EULA and complete the download.
